The Sales & Marketing Analyst is responsible for conducting a broad spectrum of analyses and reports as well as providing day-to-day support for sales and marketing initiatives. This person must demonstrate strong analytical skills, critical thinking and a drive for results. The ideal candidate will be able to evaluate sales or trade data trends while considering inputs from the field sales team to form actionable insights. The analyst will report directly to the Director of Marketing.
Projects / Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day management of marketing function for general Acquisition initiatives
- Maintenance of CRM Database
- Assist management with analysis of CRM data
- Research and analysis of various vertical markets
- Communicate with sales team to ensure their contact lists are up to date in the system, making necessary changes and delivery of marketing materials to the appropriate lists
- Provide research and support for the sales team as needed
- Create custom reports and maps to identify prospects, customers and leads
- Provide research and support for new product development
- Develop conceptual design and content for company marketing across multiple channels
- Participate in testing process for custom-developed systems, both internal and customer-facing
Education/Experience/Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Strong analytical aptitude and Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, formulas) to interpret heavy analytics
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced & fun team environment
- BA/BS required
- Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
- Copywriting / content development experience a plus

- Position is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
